Sarah Ferguson, president and owner of Ruff 'N' Roll Dog Training became an ABCDT, Animal Behavior College Certified Dog Trainer from 2005-2006. Sarah's personal touch and one-on-one training is her specialty. The fast changes and benefits that come with a little effort, practice and commitment can truly change a family's dynamic. With just a few lessons, you will see the difference in your dog and how you learn to read your dog's behavior. You will be able to prevent accidents with children and/or strangers. You will learn to enjoy the priceless feeling of being a satisfied owner of a well behaved dog.
Sarah currently focuses on the behaviors of all kinds of breeds of dogs, their owners, how they relate with children and families and primarily how to help make your dog a hassle-free and fun part of your family. Dogs are more than pets to their owners and an integral part of families' lives. However, there are many families that do not know the key components to training their puppies or rescue dogs. Due to lack of knowledge and lack of practice with the dogs, many end up in shelters or homeless and do not get a chance for a reasonable life.
By learning the behaviors of your dog, clients are amazed to learn that by using the right reinforcers and simple tactics, you can truly change the way your dog reacts in and out of the house and with strangers and friends. You too will be amazed to see how much your dog wants to learn and wants to please with the proper dedication and education.
Sarah's goal is to teach the simple components from puppy proofing your home and the basics of house training to off leash training and more complicated tricks. She can also help with more specialized needs of dogs including by not limited to fear, anxiety, aggression or other personal issues. These are things that are all done without force and punishment. Sarah only uses positive reinforcement to teach the owners and their dogs.
