CONSULTATION required before signing up for any classes 45-60 minutes $50 You will be provided with packet of information on safe up keeping, grooming, and socializing your dog. We will "puppy proof" your home if not yet done and make sure it is a safe environment for everyone living there. If necessary, we will discuss how best to acclimate your dog within your home with other pets and children. Your dog's behavior will be tested and qualified to see what his/her needs are and what you, as the owner is hoping to achieve from the lessons, as well as allowing myself, as the trainer, observe behaviors of the dog before any lessons take place. We will go through a "reinforcement quiz" to see how best your dog will learn along with a tutorial on how the program works. Ruff 'N' Roll Dog Training reserves the right to not accept the client as a student after the consultation if it perceived by the Trainer that it is the wrong fit for client and Trainer. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION *TRAINING & DOG SITTING: If you are a client and would still like your dog trained but you are busy (and would normally need to cancel or need a dog sitter), it would be a pay-as-you-go extra $50 per hour session for the Trainer to work with the dog without the owner present. *If you would need additional dog sitting for longer than the 1 hour session, prices are negotiated depending on length needed. (Depends on availability) *For Stage 1-4 as well as "specialized" and "one-off requests", any additional lessons there-after are $50/lesson. *Any additional lessons for two dogs trained at once, there-after are $75/lesson. STAGE 1 5 sessions 1 hour sessions $300 (All ages/breeds welcome) Some of the valuable techniques learned will include: - Powering up your clicker - Recall - Sit - Down - Wait/stay - Free shaping - Touch - Look - Loose leash walking - Heel - Socialization + safety - Nipping - Jumping - Leave it - Handling + grooming STAGE 2 Prerequisite is successful completion of stage 1 or prequalification by the Trainer relating to previous training 1 hour sessions 4 sessions | $275 - Continuation of Stage 1 (if haven't addressed all necessary issues) - Client request including problem solving - Specialized focus on certain techniques that your dog may need additional work - Suggestion by the trainer to perfect knowledge - Longer down/stay commands - Advancing the knowledge of working outside with distractions STAGE 3: OFF LEASH ADVANCEMENT Prerequisite: Successful completion of Stage 1 & 2 or prequalification by the Trainer after Stage 1 1 hour sessions 4 sessions | $325 - This level focuses on off leash training and perfecting the skills learned within stages 1 and 2 - Controlling your dog in an "off leash" environment and still controlling and having the dog focusing on the owner - Client request including problem solving - Trainer suggestion based on knowledge of dog and owner STAGE 4: TRICKS Prerequisite: Successful completion of Stage 1 & 2 or prequalification by the Trainer after Stage 1 45 minutes - 1 hour sessions 3 sessions | $200 - Per client request - Examples: Stand, Roll-over, Dancing, Walk backwards, Prop usage, etc. SPECIALIZED/AGGRESSION ISSUES Prerequisite: Successful Completion of Stage 1 & 2 or prequalification by the Trainer depending on the need and previous training completed 45 minutes - 1 hour sessions $75 initial consultation fee (waived if completed stage 1) 4 sessions l $ 325 (if accepted as a student) One-off requests to address aggression, anxiety, fear, adoption acclimation, tail chasing, excessive barking, special needs, etc. - Learn ways to overcome and handle dogs that have fear issues, aggression towards people or other pets, anxiety issues and other special needs that your dog may express. - We will focus on how to read the body language of your dog to prevent accidents and increase safety. - You will learn how to distract and have your dog focus on you during a high stressful situation. - Learn tactics on how to handle situations if you & your dog are put in a dangerous situation. ONE-OFF REQUESTS Prerequisite: Successful completion of Stage 1 & 2 or prequalification by ther Trainer after stage 1 45 minutes - 1 hour sessions 3 sessions | $200 Do you want to focus on one or two primary training behaviors? Do you need a refresher on a certain technique? This class is for you! Previous students welcome! TRAINING TWO DOGS AT ONCE This program starts with the Consultations as described above to assess the dogs needs, the owner needs and decide if this makes sense to work with them together or if it will be more beneficial to split training. - All stage descriptions above are the same, however, each 1 hour session will be divided into 2 half hour sessions so each dog has personalized attention for 30 minutes each. Prices are as follows: Consultation - $50 Stage 1: 5 sessions - $350 Stage 2: 4 sessions - $300 Stage 3: (Off-Leash): 3 sessions - $300 Stage 4: (Tricks): 3 sessions - $250 One-off requests: 3 sessions - $250 |
